Description
This destroyer was born out of a need for a longer-range weapon. The weird science weapon that was developed, a large particle beam cannon needed a lot of power. To fit in the extra power generation required, a destroyer platform was chosen to carry this large weapon. The University-class destroyer was launched. Note the particle-beam cannon can be overpowered, though this damages the atomic engines and should not be used too often.
